I know that USA did something special, and when we look back on it we’ll be really proud. And the Canadian fans were really classy during the medal ceremony. But to come that close and then lose to Sidney Crosby hurts. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we don’t want to hear about it for the next four years.

Today was the first time I actually full-on, not-just-dust-in-the-eyes cried over a sporting event.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. I have never been so proud and heartbroken at the same time before. Glad to know I’m not the only one who cried.
