Alex Ovechkin Is the Most Thoughtful, Considerate Person I’ve Never Met

(I think I should get some kind of award for writing two posts with Alex Ovechkin in the title in one night.)

He is SO SWEET.  Because it figures that I watch the entire first period of that game but switch over to watch the interview with Adam Mair (which was really cute; he sounds like a very nice boy) only to return to the Caps game to hear that he has scored a power play goal.  And since Comcast’s coverage of the Caps kind of sucks, they don’t show me a replay.  But then, when I’m watching the intermission interview, I hear that they changed who got the goal!  It was Laich’s goal!  Alex felt so bad that I didn’t see the goal that he made the officials change it to Laich’s goal.  He is so considerate.  I am a lucky, lucky girl.

But, um, what’s up with these Sabres?  And what’s up with Max AND Timmy playing?  Geez, Tim.  You’re supposed to be in a full body cast right now.

And 2-0, Plalime?  Yikes.  You’re supposed to be, like, good.  Please don’t lose to Columbus.  Especially since you’re playing Pittsburgh tonight.

Come on, Sabres.  You can do it.  Please don’t spoil an otherwise wonderful evening.
