It’s very lame. Not only will I not be able to blog (which I’m sure will simply kill you all), but I won’t be able to keep up with any free agency news, because the place we’re staying charges astronomical fees for internet access and my iPhone didn’t come in. AT&T is a filthy liar, and I’m sad.
So, you know, Happy Fourth of July!! Be safe, don’t get too close to fireworks, yadda yadda yadda. Have fun enjoying the second week of free agency. If anything huge happens and you have my number, please, dear sweet friends, text me and let me know.
Rick Nash signed an eight year deal with Columbus, which makes me happy because I like Rick Nash and it’s one of the cases where part of why I like him is where he plays. It’s like with Lars. If he ever got traded to the Sabres – like he did in a nightmare I had once – it would completely change the dynamics of our relationship. It’s better when players stay put in situations like that.
Last night was my first Bisons game of the season, but I don’t think I’ll be rushing back. They were really bad.
Signing off. The thought of not being anywhere near a computer for a whole week kind of scares me.
