(Not) Blogging About the ESPYs

So, Dear Readers, I had every intention of hunkering down in front of the TV tonight and watching the ESPY Awards.  I knew that it wouldn’t be as much of a disaster as the NHL Awards, since there were regular celebrities there, but with athletes making their awkward acceptance speeches, I assumed I would be able to get my cringing-at-the-awkwardness fix I crave so deeply.  However, when I came downstairs, I saw that my parents had commandeered the television set and were instead watching Batman Begins.  Since I desperately want to see The Dark Knight but want to get the backstory first, I will be watching the movie.  If you were looking for an interesting take on the ESPYs, well, then you’re shit outta luck.
